About Fresh Fields
Fresh Fields is a Family Business Jen Michaud started her career as a Director of Training for a successful, upscale-casual restaurant concept in Colorado. For ten years, she built training programs that focused on company culture and quality service standards. In 2005, Jen took a position in Minneapolis as the Director of Training for a growing lodging company; ultimately rounding out her knowledge of the hospitality industry. Dave Michaud started in the restaurant business in 1984 bussing tables and within four years moved into management. His joy of talking with the guests while exceeding their expectations led to upper management positions in high volume restaurants. Throughout the years, Dave worked tirelessly knowing that his dedication to learning the industry would lead to owning a restaurant of his own. Dave and Jen met ten years ago in Denver, CO. They have returned home to Minnesota to raise their three wonderful kids near friends and family. They are proud to live in the historic community of Stillwater, MN. Fresh fields would be nothing without the amazing associates that work in the bakery around the clock. From artisan bakers and pastry chefs to the friendly, energetic café associates; each team member has a critical role to play in the success of the business. The Michaud family values their loyalty.
